The War Room — A Ninety-Day Campaign Instrument
Hannibal's advantage was never ferocity. It was reconnaissance, terrain, and the discipline to concentrate force at one decisive point while his enemy spread himself across many. He beat larger armies for sixteen years on method alone.
The War Room is that method, built into an instrument you can use on the next ninety days of your own life.
This is not a book and not a printable. It is a working application — a single file that opens in any browser, runs without an account or an internet connection, and keeps your campaign on your own machine where nobody else can read it.
The six stages
I. The Objective. One sentence. A condition of victory you could observe from outside. Then the chain of "so that" until you hit something you actually care about — because most plans die here, carrying an objective borrowed from somebody else.
II. The Terrain. What you have, what is genuinely working against you, and what you are lying to yourself about. There is always one. The stage is worthless unless it is honest.
III. The Decisive Point. You list your fronts and divide a hundred units of effort between them. The instrument shows you the shape of your quarter and tells you plainly what it sees. Spread thin across five fronts and it will say so.
IV. The Sequence. Thirteen weeks, one decisive action each, with phases closing at four, eight and thirteen. A campaign is an order of operations, not a list of intentions.
V. The Council. Assume the campaign has already failed, and explain how — in the past tense. Name the earliest warning signal and the week you would see it. Decide your counter now, while you are calm. Set the line at which you abandon, before you are in a position to move it.
VI. The Review. One pass per week, ten minutes. What happened, what it taught you, and the call: hold, shift effort, or abandon. The campaign is not the plan you wrote in week one. It is what this log says you actually did.

Who this is not for
If you are looking for motivation, this will disappoint you. It does not encourage. It asks what you are avoiding, makes you write down how this fails, and tells you when your effort is spread too thin to produce anything. People who want to feel better about a vague plan should buy something else.
